We launched two social impact initiatives and partnered with local non-profits to meet community needs.

We partnered with a community from a semi-urban part of Kolkata to provide education in conversational English for high school students and young professionals. Our team developed a one-year curriculum to help participants develop a linguistic skill that will widen their job prospects and make them more competitive in jobs requiring multi-lingual abilities. They were given the opportunity to practice their conversational skills with teachers who are fluent in English.

We also partnered with a Kolkata based non-profit to train their teachers to be more effective in the classroom. Using content from our course catalog, we engaged them in discussion about how they could nurture leadership in the classroom and use creative techniques to build their students.
